Extreme Components is proud to present the new Twill Carbon Fiber tail winglets for Ducati Panigale V4/S/R, Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V4/V2. The result has been reached thanks to our gained experience in more than 10 years in MotoGP and thanks to the collaboration with the best Teams.
Winglets have been developed for the best superbike and supersports of Borgo Panigale and as in MotoGP they have been developed to disturb the slipstream for the rider behind, to augment the aerodynamic load on the rear wheel on high speed corners and at the same time to augment the s the stability of the bike.
Last but not least is extremely racing and contemporary look they add to the bike (MotoGP Style). The winglets are totally made with pre-prep carbon fiber and worked through autoclave process at 90° and 6 bar of pressure to obtain the best structural resistance to airflow and the best lightness at the same time.
The finishing is gloss with 200gr. twill carbon fiber. The base of the winglets perfectly copy and fits on the shapes of all the tail units, Monoposto Ducati OEM tails included. They fit so in all the Ducati Panigale V4/S/R, Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V4/V2
The winglets are supplied with a template (made in Black Fiber, as well produced in autoclave). This one permit the installation of the winglets in the correct position and can be used also as a reinforcement on the fragile tail units. The installation of the template is necessary to the tail units which are not strong enough for the modification you are going to make, making them structurally perfect and fine for winglets installation.
The installation of the template, in this case used as a reinforcement, must be on the inner side on the tail trough the use of a bicomponent glue (not supplied on the kit). The gluing of the template must be done only after having drill the holes for the installation of the winglets.
