The company Extreme Components

OUR STORY
In 2027, Extreme Components celebrates 20 years in business. The company was founded by Stefano Bragagnolo, whose passion for motorcycles began at the age of 10, with the ambition of turning that passion into something tangible: designing and manufacturing components for racing motorcycles, using the finest raw materials available on the market and the most advanced technologies in the manufacturing industry. From the very beginning, Extreme Components has followed one clear philosophy: never compromise on quality.
We use only premium-quality materials for our products, starting with the finest aerospace-grade alloys used for our machined-from-solid components. Each part undergoes hard anodizing and, where applicable, is finished with laser-engraved logos and markings. All our components featuring moving mechanisms are also equipped with dual-bearing systems, ensuring precision, smooth operation and long-term reliability.
Our pursuit of maximum lightness and performance has led us to develop a range of composite materials designed to meet the most demanding requirements of the racing world.
For our composite components manufactured using autoclave technology, we exclusively use pre-impregnated fabrics, both for Carbon Fiber and Black Fiber, selecting different weights according to the type and intended use of each product.
For Carbon Fiber, we primarily use the Twill weave, combining high-performance characteristics with a distinctive and refined appearance.
Black Fiber is a special material belonging to the Glass Fiber family, characterized by its extremely low weight. It is used to manufacture components for championships where regulations prohibit the use of Carbon Fiber. Thanks to its characteristics, Black Fiber allows us to achieve weight levels very close to those of Carbon Fiber.
Another material developed by Extreme Components is Epotex, manufactured using a dry-fabric process. We combine a Twill-weave Glass Fiber fabric with a special epoxy resin, creating fairings that offer greater lightness and flexibility compared to conventional fiberglass fairings.
Our research and development process is based on direct collaboration with some of the leading racing teams competing in the most prestigious national and international championships.
Working closely with the teams who use our products on the racetrack allows us to collect valuable data, develop new solutions and test every component under the most demanding conditions.
Only once testing has been completed and our required standards have been achieved is a product approved for production.
This approach — based on the continuous interaction between design, technology and competition — allows us to turn our experience on the racetrack into products designed for riders and professionals around the world.
Our motto, “Only Works of Art”, has deep roots.
Our almost obsessive attention to detail, finishes and product quality comes from a family history that predates the birth of Extreme Components. In 1969, the parents of our founder, Stefano Bragagnolo, opened their first jewellery store.
It is precisely from that experience that our attention to every single detail originates: a philosophy that, combined with our passion for motorcycles and technological innovation, has guided the growth of our company.
This journey has led us to become trusted and appreciated at the highest levels of international motorcycle racing and to achieve major results in the MotoGP World Championship, with 7 World Championship titles in Moto3, 8 in Moto2 and 1 in MotoGP.
Twenty years of passion, research and competition.
