Extreme Components is proud to present the new brake calipers heat sink dedicated to Ducati Panigale V2, model on which we are busy to develop many parts on Supersport category.
The tests we made in the last summer has shown a temperature reduction of the excercise temperature of the brake calipers up to 20°, with all the benefit that this involves. The temperature reducing vary according to the brake pads used but in any case it is very consistent.
Our device extend the durability and consistency of the brake performance on the hotter days and permit to take all the advantages and the correct usury the brake pads.
Another important benefit is the reducing of the exercise temperature of the brake oil. That permit to avoid the creation of bubbles inside brake lines and the reducing of brake performance (Fading).
Our heat sinks are made of two elements joined together:
- a special steel, laser-worked plate, that reduces the hot air chamber taking shape between brake pads and calipers pistons
- the proper heatsink, CNC-machined to guarantee the cooling of the steel plate, produced with a special aluminum with a high thermal dissipation capacity.
Our brake caliper heat sink are plug and play and fits on front calipers only.
