Moto3: Four Extreme Components riders on the top ten.
After a long time without racing we couldn’t expect a better start. Lorenzo Dalla Porta the Italian rider of the Leopard Racing Team started from the 2nd position and was one of the protagonist of the race since the start. After a great fight with a group of 8 riders, Lorenzo leaded the whole last lap but unfortunately he lost the first place for just 0.053 tenth and finished second.
His teammate Marcos Ramirez, at his first race with Leopard Racing Team was able to comeback more than fifteen positions. Started 20th, he improved his pace lap by lap and he got a fantastic 4th place.
Great result also for both the Angel Nieto Team riders Albert Arenas and Raul Fernandez (at his debut in Moto3 World Championship) who finished 6th and 7th respectively after a whole race in the leading group.
Great comeback also for the Monlau Competition Estrella Gallicia rider Alonso Lopes who started 21st and could follow the group of the fastest riders and finished the race 12th. His teammate Yamaka, who replaced Sergio Garcia (who could not ride due to his to young age) finished 20th.
Unlucky race for the RedBull KTM Ajo rider Can Oncu who, after a difficult QP in which he got the 18th place, in the race he lost many seconds going wide to avoid a crash in front of him and at the end he finished 18th.

Moto2: Incredible Baldassarri.
The Flexbox HP 40 rider Lorenzo Baldassarri started from the 3rd place and was immediately able to get the leading position. He increased his pace and opened a little gap from his rivals. In the last lap Lorenzo gave his best to maintain the lead and finally he won the first race of the season.
His teammate Augusto Fernandez started 10th had a difficult start and lost some positions. In the second half of the race his feeling with the bike became better and end the race 5th.
Difficult race for the RedBull KTM Ajo rider Brad Binder who was one of the protagonist of the pre season and also of the first days of the QatarGP. Binder had a great start from the P8 and overtook some rider in the first corner. Unfortunately he suffered for the low grip of the rear tyre but anyway he finished 12th and earned the first points of the season. Also his Teammate Jorge Martin didn’t feel comfortable on the bike due to the low grip. At the end Martin finished 15th getting his first points in Moto2 class.
Hard weekend for the Angel Nieto team at his debut on Moto2 class with Jake Dixon and Xavi Cardelús. Both the riders improved his pace lab by lap, finishing the QP in 30th and 32nd position respectively. In the race Dixon suffered a crash when he was fighting for the points and was forced to a premature end. His teammate Cardelús had some difficulties to stay on top of his nerves in the opening laps and made a couple of mistakes. Anyway he finished 25th earning a lot of experience and many data to be more competitive and ready for the next race.
The next round will be on the Argentinian Circuit of Termas de Rio Hondo on the 31st of March.
