Moto3: Spectacular debut for Can Oncu.
This weekend the Motogp main competitions were held in the Valencian Circuit of Valencia, where the rain was the real protagonist.
The RedBull KTM AJO rider Can Oncu who raced in this weekend thanks to the Wildcard he got for his victory in the RedBull Rookies Cup, had protagonist of an amazing performance. Started for the 4th place, he was able to manage the difficult conditions of the track and stayed close to the first position. When the leader crashed, the young rider got the first place and after more than ten laps alone he won the race. Can Oncu signed his debut on the Moto3 World Championship with this victory and became the youngest ever Grad Prix winner in history (15 years and 115 days old).
Positive race also for the Leopard Racing rider Enea Bastianini who started 14th and recovered many positions lap by lap. The Italian rider finished 5th, his last race in Moto3, before next year step up to the middle class.
Good race also for The Angel Nieto Team riders Raul Fernandez and Andrea Migno who finished the race just three and four positions off the top ten, in 13th and 14th place respectively.
The final Championship standing sees four Extreme Components rider between the 10 fastest riders of the season with Albert Arenas 9th, Aron Canet 6th, Lorenzo Dalla Porta 5th and Enea Bastianini 4th.

Moto2: Team Title for the RedBull KTM AJO.
The RedBull KTM AJO rider Miguel Oliveira who started 10th and was able to recover the first positions in the very first lap. Managing the difficult track conditions and avoiding crashing he reached the first place and won the race with a gap of more than ten seconds. His teammate Brad Binder suffered a crash when on the battle for the top five and was forced to a premature end. With this result the RedBull KTM Ajo Team won the Team Title of this 2018 season 45 points ahead of the Sky VR46 Team.
Really good race also for the ItalTrans Racing rider Mattia Pasini who started 14th and since the start felt comfortable on the wet circuit of Valencia. Pushing hard Mattia could recover ten positions and finished for the second time in a row in the 4th place. Superb comeback for his teammate Andrea Locatelli who starting 18th had to manage the low visibility due to the water lifted from the bikes in front of him. Andrea finished the race 9th, getting in the top ten.
Another positive race for Augusto Fernandez who started 8th and went wide on the second corner to avoid a crash involving four riders, and thus losing many important seconds. From there the Pons Racing rider gave all to recover and finished 8th, once again in the points zone. His teammate Lorenzo Baldassarri was hit by another rider when he was 3rd during the first laps and was forced to a premature end.
The final Championship standing sees two Extreme Components riders on the podium and other two in the top ten with Mattia Pasini 9th, Lorenzo Baldassarri 5th, Brad Binder 3rd and Miguel Oliveira 2nd.

The Angel Nieto Team rider Karel Abraham started from the 18th position and fought for the first part of Race1 against some of the top riders. When the intensity of the rain increased Karel was very careful and avoided risks that would have compromised his race. Due to the proibitive conditions and the crashes of too many rides the race was stopped and all the contestants came back to the box. With a quick restart procedure the race started again to complete the remaining laps and Karel Finished 14th. His teammate Alvaro Bautista at his last race on MotoGP suffered a crash during the second part of the race when he was in the top ten.
The final Championship standing sees Bautista 12th and Abraham 23rd.
