A victory, a podium and a top 10 #CatalanGP

Moto3: a Victory and many crashes.
This weekend the Motogp championship was held in the Catalan circuit of Barcelona. The Moto3 was as always rich in overtakes and crashes with more than 10 riders DNF.
Enea Bastianini, the Italian rider of the Team Leopard, started from the pole position and was able to manage the whole race staying with the leading group. With two laps to go, Bastianini started his victory attack gaining the first position and getting a little gap form his rivals. At the end he won the race and returned to the highest place in the podium.
Really positive race also for the Monlau Competition rider Alonso Lopez who started 24th and pushed hard until the end finishing inside the point zone in 7th position.
Unfortunately this race was full of crashes that denied many Extreme Components riders the possibility to finish the race in a good position. With 6 laps to go a crash involved Aron Canet (Monlau Competition) and Albert Arenas (angel Nieto Team) and in the next lap after Andrea Migno (Angel Nieto Team) was rear-ended from another rider when he was first.
Now the Moto3 Championship standing sees Aron Canet 5th, -42 points and Andrea Migno 7th, -47 points from the leader Bezzecchi.
Moto2: Again in the podium.
The RedBull KTM Ajo rider Miguel Oliveira was protagonist, also in this race, of a spectacular start. Started 17th he recovered more than ten positions in a few meters and got 8th in the first corner. From there he was able to continue his comeback overtaking many riders and battling for the first place against Fabio Quartararo. At the end he finished 2nd, and after the finish line he was involved in a crash with another rider, fortunately without injuries. His teammate Brad Binder once again fought inside the top ten and finished 6th.
Good race also for the Pons Racing rider Lorenzo Baldassarri who started from 10th overtook two some riders during the first laps. Unfortunately his pace wasn’t fast enough and he finished in a great 7th position.
Now the Moto2 Championship standing sees Miguel Oliveira 2nd, -1 point and Lorenzo Baldassari 4th, -23 points from the leader Bagnaia.
MotoGP: Both the Angel Nieto team riders in the point.
The Angel Nieto Team rider Alvaro Bautista was able to get a huge comeback gaining thirteen positions and finishing inside the top ten. Started for the 22nd place he pushed hard for the whole race and managed the tires. After a regular start his feeling got better and better and the pace improved, lie finished 9th repeating the result of two weeks ago.
His Teammate Karel Abraham despite a not so perfect start could fight with the group for a few laps. TO avoid a crash ahead of him he lost many seconds and was forced to a solitary race. Despite a technical problem on the bike he finished inside the point zone in the 13th place. The next race will be in the Netherland Circuit of Assen on the 1st of July.
