Positive weekend in Jerez

WSBK: Great performance in both the races for Mercado and Andreozzi. The ioda racing rider’s Leandro Mercado started in 13th position and was able to take another two great results in the Spanish circuit of Jerez. During Race1 he overtook two riders on the first part and then he managed the tyres finishing 11th, only one position off the top ten. In Race2, after he passed four riders he tried to reach the group that was away a few seconds ahead of him. However after he reached it there wasn’t enough time to try an attack and he finished 9th.
Fantastic results also for Alessandro Andreozzi who this time too finished both races inside the point zone. The Italian rider of the Team Guandalini started 16th and finished 14th in Race1 and Race2 as well, improving his pace lap by lap.

WSTK1000: Federico Sandi once again in the top ten. The Berclaz Racing rider’s Sandi started from the 4th place in the grid and could fight for the leading position in the first part of the race. In the second part he lost his feeling with the bike because of the degradation of the rear tyre and the only thing that he could do was finish in the 7th place.
Unlucky race for the Team Trasimeno rider’s Gabriele Ruiu that started from the 19th position in the grid due to a problem of his brakes had to content himself with the 16th position, really close to the point zone.

SSP300: Difficult race for Armando Pontone. The Italian rider of the IodaRacing Team finished the last race of the Championship in 16th position, due to an unlucky start where crashes are always present.
Hard race also for Angelo Licciardi that starting 20th fought for the whole race for catch up the leading group. Due to a not perfect feeling with his bike he finished the race in the 24th place.
