SBK: Leandro Mercado won an important ninth place in Race 1 in the US Round on the Laguna Seca circuit. The Argentine driver, who jumped from the sixth box of the starting grid, pushed the maximum throughout the race, struggling with the group of riders in front of him until the last lap. Mercado was able to handle the race and finish in ninth position by anticipating the Aprilia of Savadori and winning important points for the overall standings.
The ninth place confirms the excellent work done on the bike along with the technicians during Friday's tests and during Saturday's FP3.

Completes Race 2 in 7th position confirming the performance demonstrated throughout the race weekend.
After a good start Mercado kept a constant pace, improving and finishing his race between the two official Aprilia. Thanks to teamwork, the American weekend ended with another top ten. A very positive balance for the Iodaracing team.
After this weekend in America, Mercado climbs in the 12th position in the world rankings.
