Extreme Components is proud to introduce the new Twill Carbon Fiber Swingarm Protectors, developed for the Yamaha YZF-R9 2025–2026.
An additional layer of carbon-Kevlar is applied to the areas most exposed to contact with the asphalt, specifically designed to increase abrasion resistance and provide enhanced protection for the swingarm in the event of a slide.
Manufactured from premium-quality carbon fiber, our swingarm protectors stand out for their impeccable glossy finish, lightweight construction, and precise fitment.
All our carbon fiber components are manufactured in an autoclave using pre-impregnated (pre-preg) Twill Carbon Fiber, with pressures ranging from 5 to 8 bar and temperatures between 60 °C and 90 °C, depending on the specific characteristics of each component. The integrated chain guard, a feature introduced several years ago on our swingarm protectors, is still included as standard.
We use the same advanced manufacturing technologies and premium raw materials employed in the production of components for teams competing in the Motorcycle World Championships, ensuring the highest standards of quality, strength, and aesthetic finish.
The rear fender is available with a glossy finish or, upon request and at an additional cost, with a matte finish.
