Eight Victory for Joan Mir

Moto3: Mir showed again his power in the Motorland of Aragon. Started from the 6th position, the Leopard Racing rider’s Joan Mir, immediately was able to stay with the leader group thanks to a good feeling with his bike. During the last laps he got himself in the first position and after the last long straight before the last corner, he braked very far to gain some tenths from the second one and won the race. Positive result also for the RedBull Ktm Ajo rider’s Niccolò Antonelli that finished inside the top twenty in 18th place behind his teammate Bo Bendsneyder.
Mir is still the championship leader ahead of Romano Fenati and Aron Canet.
Moto2: Two Extreme Components’s Team partner into the podium. The RedBull Ktm Ajo rider’s Miguel Oliveira, started for the first time from the pole position, after the green light he was immediately followed by all his rivals, including Franco Morbidelli and the ItalTrans Italian rider’s Mattia Pasini, that passed him after few laps. At the end of the race Pasini finished just one tenth off Morbidelli after a very fought final lap and Oliveira in third position after he reduced his gap from the firsts. Amazing performance for the second rider of RedBull Ktm Ajo, Brad Binder, that made as always an incredible come back. Started from the 20th place he gained 9 position during the first laps and after a series of great laptimes he ended 5th. Great results also for the Pons Racing rider’s Fabio Quartararo that finished 11th despite his wrist still injured.
MotoGP: Positive 8th position for Alvaro Bautista on his home GranPrix of Aragon. The Pull&Bear Aspar Team rider’s, started from the 9th place on grid, fought for the whole race for the first place of the Independent Team on the second group. After a great battle he finished in 8th place, the first Ducati of an independent team. Unlucky race for his teammate Karel Abraham that crashed when he was fighting against Espargaro.
Now unfortunately there is a break of two weeks before the Japanese round of Motegi on the 15th October.
