Moto3: The 19 year old Spaniard, flag bearer of Team Leopard, won the second career victory in leading the finish line on a group of 9 riders.
As per tradition, the Moto3 race in Qatar was resolved only at the last meters of the track. The first challenge of the 2017 season went to Joan Mir, 19 year old Mallorcan in his second year in a permanent position in the world. Riding the Honda of the Team Leopard, the Spaniard has been in the first three positions for almost the entire arc of the 18 laps and eventually succeeded to appear at the head exit of the last curve, by adjusting the finish line a large group formed by other eight opponents.

Seventh position for Niccolò Antonelli riding the KTM Team Red Bull KTM Ajo that closes as the third Italian in the top 10.

Moto2: Surprising debut of Miguel Oliveira with KTM Team Red Bull KTM Ajo already able to keep up with the best Kalex fighting to the end and finish the race in fourth position.
