Triumph for Mir and Zarco

Moto3: Joan Mir won the Austrian Grand Prix, the tenth round of the championship in 2016.

The pilot of the Leopard Racing after starting from pole struggled throughout the race with Binder, Bastianini, Quartararo and Oettl, managing to get the better of Binder and Bastianini.
Mir is the first victory of his career, and is also the first victory of his team with KTM, the Austrian company that won the race home.

At the start Mir takes the lead and tried to escape, while his team-mate Fabio Quartararo is scoring the fastest lap (1'37.305).
Constantly changing positions, and at 14 laps to go are the KTM leads with Quartararo head.
In the last laps they remain in 5 to play for the first place and Mir dreams the first success. Great fight until the last curve and a large Mir won the first victory.
Fourth place went to his teammate Quartararo.

Jorge Martin finishes in sixth place riding the Mahindra Team Pull & Bear ASPAR.
Moto2: For Zarco is the fifth seasonal victory, achieved with a perfect race: quiet start and without risk, recovery until the second position, flawless attack on Morbidelli and passing under the checkered flag in absolute safety. Johann, again, cooked his rivals, primarily on low heat, then, with a final blaze that burned opponents.
French is the pilot better shape than the whole World Championship, with this success is now the transalpine with most podiums achieved in his career, putting in second place the great Christian Sarron.
