Two victories in Sepang

Moto3: Tenth victory of the season for Joan Mir. The Leopard Racing rider’s Joan Mir started from the pole position and he was immediately over taken by Jorge Martin that opened a little gap from his followers. However, lap by lap Mir was able to catch up with the leder and won the race, his tenth of the season. His teammate Livio Loi who started from the 7th place could finish 4th after a great battle against some riders, continuing his positive line of results. Fantastic race also for the RedBull KTM Ajo rider’s Bo Bendsneyder who, although was overtaken by three riders on the last corner, finished 10th. Unlucky race for his teammate Niccolò Antonelli who finished his race earlier because of a crash when he was 7th.
Moto2: Second consecutive one-two finish for RedBull KTM Ajo riders. In the race in which Franco Morbidelli was crowned 2017 Moto2 World Champion, Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder finished in the first and second position, respectively. Started from the 2nd position Oliveira built a great gap from the group in the first meters of the race and magaged it until the end. His teammate Brad Binder fought for the whole race for the second place and after a great battle he was able to finished second. Positive 4th position for Mattia Pasini (Italtrans Racing) after a weekend in which problems were strongly present. Great race also for Fabio Quartararo (Pons Racing) who started for the first time in the first row from the 3rd position and finished 7th.
In Valencia Oliveira will have the chance to finish the championship in the 3rd position.
MotoGP: Five more points for Alvaro Bautista. The Spanish rider of the Pull&Bear Aspar Team started from the fifth row in 15th place and could recover some positions early in the race thanks to a good feeling with the rear soft tyre of his bike. On the second part of the race with the circuit drying up more and more Bautista had to content himself with the 11th place, only one position off the top ten. Unlucky race for his teammate Karel Abraham that finished his race earlier due to a crash.
The next round will be on the 12th October in the Ricardo Tormo Circuit of Valencia.
